EducationThird year student at UMASS-Lowell with a projected double-major in physics and mathematics.
ExperienceI was never officially a paid tutor; however, I spent a lot of hours in the math and physics tutoring center for three years volunteering to aid the lower-level undergrads when not enough tutors were available at the time.
Recently, I started to teach my nine-year-old son basic algebra and it's been going great thus far.
I absolutely love learning and carrying that knowledge over to others. I like to see them succeed. It's one of the best feelings.
Additionally, I may enter my university's U-Teach program to become certified as a teacher -- on top of physics/math research once I enter grad school.
HobbiesI have a son and as a mother, we also must teach and guide our children. It would by my honor to help out YOUR children as well.
I have a solid ethic in both school and work, so I guarantee they walk away with a solid knowledge as well as a very pleasant, professional experience.
